Every year Piešťany attracts hundreds of visitors, who come to the town, not just for recreation and relaxation, but also for the rich cultural and social life which are an inherent part of this spa town. All year long popular events of local, nationwide and international significance are taking place in Piešťany. These include music festival, film festivals, concerts, exhibitions of artistic works, and international sporting events. Our library together with the Information Centre is involved, to one extent or another, in all of these events.
