Ganéško goes to a party

From June 27 to July 8, 2016 an exhibition of artistic works by children from all over Slovakia, which was organized by the Society of Slovak-Indian Friendship under the patronage of the Indian Embassy in Slovakia, took place in the Piešťany Information Centre. The aim of the project was to develop awareness and expand knowledge about Indian culture, its people, and history as well as its traditions aimed at protecting life by way of a story about little Ganéško, whom the children had to artistically portray. The opening of the exhibition included the official evaluation of the contest and was also attended by the Indian Ambassador to Slovakia Param Jit Mann.
