During its long history our town, on various occasions, has been visited by many celebrities and distinguished guests. Many of them have left their impressions of their stay in Piešťany in written or literary form leaving testimony to the fact that Piešťany has much to offer its visitors and that it is definitely worth a visit. Students from Piešťany’s elementary schools also provided their original view and perspective of their town in their work for the literary contest “Piešťany Through the Eye of Children“, which took place in 2013 to mark the 900th anniversary of the first written record of the town of Piešťany.
