Between April 10th and May 10, 2017, the Town Library organized an exhibition by students from the Department of Free Graphics and Book illustrations at VŠVU (Academy of Fine Arts and Design) in Bratislava. The projects on display were the results of their semestral works, which presented various authorial approaches by the newest and youngest generation of illustrators. The students worked under the pedagogical direction of prof. Dušan Kállay, academic painter, Mgr. art. Kristína Hečková and doc. Mgr. art. Ľuboslav Paľo, ArtD. The exhibition was an accompanying event of the 34th Annual Children's Book Days Festival.
