Between April 10 – 30, 2017, the Town Library prepared an exhibition of book illustrations by Martina Matlovičová in the House of Art Piešťany. This talented artist is one of the most significant personalities on the Slovak art scene and has won several important awards for her work (Golden Apple BIB 2009, Golden Ribbon 2013, 2016, Award from the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic for excellent illustrations). The exhibition was an accompanying event of the 34th Annual Children's Book Days Festival.
