World of Books Prague

In May 2013, the 19th International Book Fair and Literary Festival “World of Books Prague 2013“ took place, in which the Slovak Republic was an honorary guest. Our library, as part of the program, presented one of its most important projects – the radio festival “Miraculous Nut: A Book on the Radio – Radio in a Book“. Also presenting at the Prague Exhibition Centre were previous winners of this festival’s awards - illustrators Peter Čisárik, Eva Farkašová, Ľuboslav Paľo, Peter Uchnár, Miloš Kopták, Martina Matlovičová and Vladimír Král. Another accompanying event took place in the Slovak Institute – a meeting with the creators of radio fairytales Ján Uličiansky, Daniel Hevier and Mária Števkova and there was also a creative workshop for children with participation by illustrators Peter Čisárik, Vladimír Král and Martina Matlovičova.
