Throughout the entire month of September 2015, there was an on-going interactive project on display in the library called Water is Life. The project provided visitors with a closer picture of the irreplaceable importance that water has for life using different thematic displays - water in nature, water conservation, aquatic plants and animals, climate changes, water pollution, and sources of drinking water. In addition to guided tours through the exhibition there were also various activities, games, quizzes, and fun tasks. The library also organized, for children from kindergartens and elementary schools, its own literary and art workshops with books devoted to the topic of water (tales of Slovak rivers, stories about water fairies, experiments with water), as well as a theatrical performance called "About Dry Water", just for the little ones. The designers of the exhibition's concept were the Slovak Environmental Agency, the Institute of Applied Ecology Daphne, and the Research Institute of Water Management. The exhibition was one of the accompanying events of the project "I Discover and I Learn", carried out with the financial support of the Town of Piešťany.
