All the best mr. Janovic!

In 2017, the Piešťany Library prepared a nationwide art contest for children to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the birth of the author Tomáš Janovic. The participants had the task of making an artistic version of their favourite story, tale or poem written by this popular author. Altogether 924 works were sent in by children from all over Slovakia. The official award ceremony took place on April 11th during the festival Children's  Book Days  at the Power Station in Piešťany (Elektrárňa Piešťany) and was also attended by the author himself, Tomáš Janovic.
