Map of the town in which we live

From August to November 2016, the library carried out an educational project focused on becoming better acquainted with the town of Piešťany. The aim of this project was to create a relationship between children and their town, to raise their interest in it and to expand their knowledge of its history, geography, and domestic lore. As part of the project, we prepared informational lessons focused on learning more about the history and current situation of the town and its most important personalities. As part of the workshops, the children developed their imaginations and presented their vision of how our town could look in the future. The project also included an exhibition displaying the children's work and other attractions of Piešťany.  The project was carried out with the financial support of the Town of Piešťany.
